Last updated: 04 January 2026

Summary

This extension runs locally inside your Chrome browser on your device. Highlighting, extraction, and summarisation all happen locally in the browser. The extension does not run a server and does not send your page content to a developer service. Your profiles and settings are saved in Chrome storage so they persist between sessions. If you enable Chrome Sync for extensions, Chrome may sync those settings across your signed in browsers.

What the extension does

Data the extension processes

Website content

The extension reads text from the active webpage tab to perform highlighting, extraction, and summarisation. This processing happens locally inside your Chrome browser and is initiated by your actions such as clicking Draft Reply, Translate, Summarise, or an AI button.

The extension does not upload your page content to a developer server.

The extension does not build a browsing history list and does not log your visited pages by default.

Data the extension stores

Profiles and settings

The extension stores your profiles, terms, and vocabulary in Chrome storage on your device so your configuration persists between sessions.

Sync

If you enable Chrome Sync for extensions, Chrome may sync your profiles and settings across browsers where you are signed in. This sync is provided and controlled by Chrome. The extension itself does not operate a server and does not upload your data to a developer managed service.

AI

AI features are optional and only run when you click an AI button.

If AI is unavailable, the extension may falls back to non AI behaviour.

Sharing and selling

The extension does not sell user data. The extension does not send your page content to third parties. The extension only uses data to deliver the features you choose to run.
